Brief Answer:
Worsening unlikely related to nerve conduction study.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

If all the tests you had about nerve compression as a possible explanation of your symptoms, including nerve conduction study, then tendinitis, or tendons damage by inflamation and irritation is the most likely diagnosis.

In my opinion, nerve conduction study can aggravate symptoms only for few hours.

Tendinitis is treated initially with avoiding activities that aggravate symptoms,
rest of the injured area, over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs or using topical anti-inflammatory gels.

If no improvement, later corticoids and rarely surgery are needed.

You should discuss with a Orthopedic surgeon about your condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
