Question : I had a urinalysis done and my RBC ua is 11-30. I was on my period while taking this. Did that have anything with the high number?
Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
Hello There! Thank you for asking HealthCareMagic.
I have gone through your question and i understand your concern.
Yes, while you are with your period, urine may be contaminated with the blood of your menstruation.
In this case the blood in urine is from your period---false positive result.
You need to tell your doctor that you had your menstruation while you did the test and / she will decide to do the test again or not.
Hope my answer is helpful, let me know if you have any further questions, will be happy to help .
Take Care!
