Posted on Fri, 28 Oct 2016
Question: Hi doctor

I am facing lot of issues in urine passing
like i feel urge to urinate (urge makes me feel it will leak automatically) , i rush to the washroom and only little drops come , i apply pressure then gas comes out and water comes out from my rectum, sometimes watery stools come out which makes difficult for me to pass urine.
Then again i feel the urge in another 20 minutes.
I usually suffer from gastric issue ,stomach pain..stomach fullness but don't know if the urine prblem is because of it.
Even it makes me difficult to sleep as bladder is not empty completely.. I am suffering this issue from long time bt sometomes the problem aggravates

Please suggest something
thanks in advance

Brief Answer:
You need gynecological examination

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query.

I have read your query. I can see that you are a 23 year old female and this situation is unlikely in your age. Two possibilities come to my mind.

One is presence of fibroid in uterus that is causing stool problems and urine problems as well.

Second possibility is urine urge incontinence due ongoing infection or inflammation of gut that may have travelled to urinary tract.

You need detailed evaluation by a gynecologist. An ultrasound of abdomen may be needed. Complete urine evaluation needed. A few blood tests may also be needed like fasting blood sugar levels, complete blood count. Intermittent catheterisation may also be needed until the cause is found and taken care of. Treatment depends on cause. Until then please drink cleaner water with TDS less than 20 ppm to avoid gut infections. Take more of fruits.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Which eating habits?

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Which eating habits are you suspecting?
Yes any habit that can cause infection or inflammation can cause it. Eating unhygienic food or unclean drinking water can cause it.

Brief Answer:
That is not a cause of problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Drinking tea in morning of not a cause of this problem. Just dont make the tea strong and make it in cleaner water. Have it with some food or biscuits. It may cause gastritis but should not cause urinary problems.
