Brief Answer:
Take a proton pump inhibitor and a prokinetic agent

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist.

Heartburns are due to reflux of acid from the stomach to oesophagus that is food pipe.

For this you should take a proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole along with a prokinetic agent like domperidone once a day before breakfast.

Also some lifestyle modifications like

1.Avoid tea, coffee, oily and spicy food.
2.Also avoid citrus fruits.
3.Don't lie down at least for 2 hrs after any meal and
4. Don't drink water for at least 2 hrs with any meal

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you . Wish you a good health
