What Causes Thinning Of Hair?

Question: I am suffering from thinning of hairs right after delivering a baby . I had delivered a baby in 2010 . From than till XXXXXXX 2014 , I did not have any problem with menostraul period . From last three months it is irregular .

and my dark circles also getting darker nowadays .

Though I don’t have THYROID .

THanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The possibility here is of PCOD - polycystic ovarian disease.
It is a condition of hormonal imbalance, in which the periods are irregular and there is hair loss, dark pigmentation etc.
Weight loss helps if you are overweight.
Drugs like Metformin can be given.
I would suggest you to consult a gynaecologist.
Go for an internal exam, a pelvic ultrasound scan and hormonal levels - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone, SHBG, Lipid profile.
THis workup will reveal the diagnosis and cause for your problems.
