Question : feverish kind of feeling, but no fever, throat pain and cough ( not dry cough)

Hi,

How long have you been suffering? If there was no fever, then use of amoxicillin is unwarranted.

I would start you on antihistamine syrups like benadryl along with salt water gargles. I would start antibiotics if symptoms don't improve.

Generally such episodes resolve uneventfully in few days to week. So let me know the duration of problem and we can have a fruitful discussion.
