Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description it appears to be a case of upper respiratory tract infection. The oral cavity, tonsils and pharynx needs to be examined by your doctor. If there are signs of possible bacterial infection with pus and follicular tonsilitis or pharyngitis then rapid strep test and throat swab for culture and sensitivity testing should be done. Antibiotics can be prescribed afterwards. If there are no such findings then saline gargles , plenty of fluids, antihistamines and acetaminophen would suffice.
