Question : Hello, my wife is 6 months pregnant. She has throat pain, running nose, headache with mild fever. Can she take Panadol tablet (Crocin / Pandadol ) ? Also, can she take Montek LC tablet ? Please advise if this is safe.

Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Sir, Thank you for posting your query on HCM. Well looking into your problem Crocin contains paracetamol and it can be used safely in pregnancy but it is advisable to use paracetamol at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Same is with Montek LC , it can be used safely but take it for symptom relief and avoid if symptoms are tolerable . Throughout the regimen stay in contact with your doctor . Take care. Dr. Shruti
