Question : I haveing throat problem which I showed to ENT specialist. from last four months he has kept me on a tablet which fix gas/acidity issue in stomach as Dr feels that this bad throat is due to gas/acidity proble. But I am not getting any benefit from this treatment. Not sure what do I do, should I switch to new Dr or continue ,edicine which is related to my stomach and not throat

Brief Answer: Use antiseptic gargles along with dietary modifica Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for the query. You have not stated your problem in throat. But your doctor has put you on drugs for acidity which is not uncommon as the throat problems can be because of acidity also. Otherwise please use an antiseptic gargling solution for few days one hour after meals. Avoid spicy, oily and junk food and excessive tea, coffee and alcohol. Please get a complete ENT examination done so as to rule out any infective focus in the nose or sinuses. Feel free to ask another query. Regards
