Question : Severe pain on right side of the back of my head. Goes up behind the ear. And down the neck. Feels like muscle but also stabbing pain like worst headache ever. Steroids and muscle relaxers aren't doing much ! Your opinion?
Brief Answer:
Add pregabalin or gabapentin with current medications
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
You may be having cervical spondylosis.
Take pain killers with muscle relaxant like aceclofenac or diclofenac with tizanidine or thiocholchicoside.
Neuropathic pain modulator drugs like pregabalin or amitriptyline or gabapentin can be increased depending upon response.
Local pain reliever ointment can also be taken.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
