Question: I am on a beta blocker to help with pounding in my head triggered by a little exertion. Has my medication stopped working or does it need to be increased because is is sever now,

At which dose you are using it? Do you have diabetes or any other illlnes?
There is need to adjust the dose . Apart from it, there is need to get the Full blood count, urea , creatinine levels.
Sometimes , it occur as a result of low blood pressure which causes a compensatory rise in heart rate which can be perceived as throbbing pain in head..
Continue with your medicines and don't stop your medicines on your own.
