Dear Ms XXXXXXX
Ticklish feeling in the anal region is most likely to be due to worm infestation, sometimes it could be due to erythema in the Perianal region.
In some of the cases there may be negative stool examination in spite of infection being present. Empirical treatment can be safely be given for deworming using either Mebendezole or Albendazole.
I would also suggest the following which will definitely decrease the tickling feeling
1. Hot seitz bath; to a tub of lukewarm water add handful of common table salt. Make your child sit in it for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat it twice a day. After the bath dry the area and apply either coconut or olive oil.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
