What Causes Tightness Around Left Chest Area And Ribs Pain?
Question: Feeling a Tightness around left chest area. Some times feeling pain in ribs also. This Started some 7 months back. It is better now than the initial stage but not getting rid of it completely. Due to this cant do any Physically stressful activities.
Food is from outside most of the time and don't have the habit of exercise.
Need to know whether it is related to Gastro.

And the age is very much against heart disease, as a cause of pain…
It is also less likely to be from the stomach – ‘Gastro”…
If so, it will generally be related to food…and benefitted by the drug.
Still, the ideal option is to exclude it and that is easily achieved by an Upper GI Endoscopy (Gastroscopy).
Sounds like muscle pain.. spasm from stress, posture at work or bed etc…
Muscle relaxants may help.
Antidepressants help to elevate the pain threshold of pain perception and help…,
Regular physical activity like walking half an hour a day helps
