Question : I had a tightness on both of my shoulder blades and it was hard to pick up my arm for a few seconds. Felt like a weak feeling and numbness
Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to a muscle spasm.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Symptoms that you have described are likely to be due to a muscle spasm most likely caused by a wrong body posture. Taking mild stretching exercise will be helpful. Muscle relaxants will bring a short term relief.
You can do a hot fomentation and apply a local analgesic gel on the area to relieve the spasm and tightness.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
