default
Posted on Wed, 24 Dec 2014
Question: I have a tight feeling in my chest much of the time, worse when I get tired. I get tired easier than in past. I lose my ability to talk at normal volume and my legs feel very heavy when I'm tired. Activity gets very hard too. What does this sound like?

Brief Answer:
Needs investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

fatigue is not a specific symptom. Investigation is needed. Heart, lung problems, anemia and other conditions may present with fatigue.
I'd like to see the results of the tests you've done. Also please tell me if you're a smoker and how much do you smoke (packs x years). Your body weight would be helpful as well.
Regarding heart problems: heart failure and coronary disease are the main concerns but other conditions like pericarditis should be also excluded.
Lung problems: your sequestration problem can sometimes evolve into a malfunctioning lung that may cause breathing discomfort and shortness of breath. Most of the times there is a tendency for pulmonary infections.
So, please upload the results of the tests you've done. It would be helpful if you could include a chest X-ray.
I'll be waiting for your input.

Kind Regards!
