What Causes Tightness In The Abdomen After Recovering From H. Pylori Infection?

Question: I had Hplyori infection which was successfully eradicated about two months ago. I have been left with a strange tight feeling in the lower right of my stomach that sometimes moves across the middle below my belly button. At other times it has reminded me of when I was pregnant which is now impossible as I am 52 and have not had a period for over a year.

Brief Answer:
I would have asked for ultrasound abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
As you have mentioned that your physical examination by doctor and blood works are fine.
I would have suggested you for ultrasound abdomen and later if required upper GI endoscopy This will allow us to determine the cause of pain / tight feeling. You should see a general surgeon for these tests.

Hope this helps
Take care
