What Causes Tingling And Burning Sensation In The Penis?

default
Posted on Tue, 17 Oct 2017
Question: Yesterday the pubic hair area above my penis started to have a burning/tingling sensation which is constant now. Its the entire area not in spots and there is no redness at all. Also I have the sensation of pins and needles that go down my groin down both legs to my feet. The same sensation is in my hands. There is no pain but the heat I am feeling in the pubic hair area is keeping me up and is annoying. There are no symptoms on my penis or scrotum. About 8 days ago I had protected sex with a woman so I am concerned that it could be from that.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be peripheral neuropathy, exclude its causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints and you are having parasthesias which are usually due to a peripheral neuropathy.
It doesn't seem to be related to intercourse.
It has multiple causes like alcohol intake, diabetes, thyroid disease, vitamin deficiency, certain drugs, kidney disease and certain neoplasms.
If the problem persists consult a doctor and get yourself evaluated.
