Question: Recently I have noticed a repetition of tingling and partial temporary numbness in the left hand. I am 73 years old and have a history of stokes in the family. I am being treated for high blood pressure. Could this be related?

Brief Answer:
Problem with heart or blood vessels

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. This specific sensation in your left hand could be connected with your heart but also with low blood supply of your brain. My suggestion is to visit your GP and test your heart and blood vessels which supply your brain because problems with heart could appear because of high BP and you also mentioned stroke which could be connected with bad brain blood supply.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
