Question : after taking diuretics for a few years I notice my feet started to feel half wooden and then it went up into my legs. now it is up over the knee and I feel a tingling in my right arm also.

Brief Answer: Diuretics can cause potassium disbalance Detailed Answer: hello and thank you for asking HCM, I understand your concern. This feeling is not normal for diuretics so my suggestion is to visit your doctor who prescribed you this diuretics to evaluate the proper dose because diuretics can make a disbalance in potassium levels which could lead to this unusual apearence. There can also be other conditions which could lead to your symptoms, not necessary connected with diuretics, for example diabetic neuropathy or disc herniation in your spine which can cause nerve damage. So visit your GP to make blood tests to see if the level of potassium is in normal levels to see if the wrong dose is the main problem or the doctor should search for something else.
