Brief Answer:
UTI to be ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM forum.
Odd sensations like tingling/burning/pain during micturition usually indicates UTI(urinary tract infection). This may also be associated with other symptoms like nausea, lower abdominal discomfort, increased frequency of urination etc.
After confirming the diagnosis with a urine routine test, this can be treated with antibiotics like cefixime/norfloxacin for 5-7 days. Your doctor will guide you in this.
Meanwhile, drink enough oral fluids.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing for a faster cure.
Thank you.

Thanks for that..
just thinking about other problems i have had with my body that may be related..
I have a really sore right side in my abdomen under my ribs and around the back area, lately my urine has had a off smell to it but i have just thought its because i haven't drunk enough water for that day, i also get odd pains like a sharp pain in my vagina area and even though i get a good amount of sleep i have been very weak and tired.
I have made an appointment to see my doctor this afternoon.
But could it be kidney stones?
Thanks,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Can be.
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for the information.
Pain toward one side of abdomen can be from ureteric stones too, especially if it is colicky in nature (severe pain coming as intermittent attacks, associated with nausea &/ vomiting).
And, ureteric stone is a cause of secondary UTI.
A urine routine test can give clue to stones too. If suspected, we can confirm or exclude this by an USG abdomen.
Anyhow, you already have made appointment.
Continue having plenty of oral fluids, as stasis can exacerbate the infection.
If you have no further questions, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wishing for everything to be fine.
Take care.
Thank you.
