Question : I have bier spots on my hands and sometimes near my knees, I've been getting tingling sensation and numbness..I notice the bier spots seem more prevalent when I get these sensations..I also get light headed and some chest aches but no exact area. my blood test showed all normal except for high cholesterol. my kidney function was a bit off so a follow up blood test will check minerals. what could be the problem. I have been told most likely it is anxiety but I'm a bit sceptical

Yes, Anxiety can for sure be a possible cause for such lightheadedness and chest aches during flaring p of the spots. the tingling and numbness are associated features of the spots. There is no need to worry.

The other possibility is deficiency of vitamins specially Vitamin B 12 this causes defective peripheral nerve conduction in the skin which can in-turn trigger the vascular changes leading to the spots. Once do get the vitamin B12 levels estimated to be on the safer side.
