What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Fingers?

default
Posted on Tue, 19 Sep 2017
Question: Ok, Doctors. I started a new drug for incontinence two months ago. The drug is Myrbetriq. Am 55+ aged women in good health; no other issues or drugs taken so think this probably related to new drug.
There is no indication that the intermittent tingling sensation in fingers and numbing in my hands is a symptom of using this drug. The sensation is not pinpointed to a specific time of day, sitting or standing, or exercise. It just happens! Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Tingling and numbness in fingers is not due to side effects of Myrbetriq

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

You have been facing problem of urinary incontinence and have been taking Myrbetriq and having tingling and numbness in finger which you have doubt about to be due to side effect of Myrbetriq.

Myrbetriq (Merabegron ) has selective action over muscles of bladder and is not reported to have side effects of tingling and numbness in fingers .

This could be due to some neurological or due to Cervical spondylitis .

Consult qualified Neurologist or Orthopedic surgeon for clinical assessment and further treatment .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
