Brief Answer:
disc displacement, temporomandibular joint, medication

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the tingling sensation near the ear can be because of the disc displacement in the temporomandibular joint. This occurs when you keep your mouth open for long time( during filling if you would have opened your mouth for long time) or any trauma or malocclusion. Nothing to be panic , consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of analgesic like piroxicam(if you are not allergic). Take soft diet, don't open your mouth too wide. Give hot foment action over the joints.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back. Take care.
