Question : I was just having a conversation on the phone, sitting in a kind of funny position (leaning entirely on my left shoulder) when I felt a tingling sensation throughout my shoulder down to the elbow and a bit on the left side of my body (not the chest). I felt a slight tingling around my ear on the same side. The tingling has stopped though I do not feel like myself at all (no doubt at least in part because I am worried about this). Not sure if I should go to the ER since it has stopped. There was never ANY pain in the chest or anywhere else.

Brief Answer:
Please, NO ER!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I understand you are concerned about a possible heart attack. Relax and chill. This is not the case. This pain would resolve spontaneously and there is no need for you to go to the ER for this. It has all to do with the posture you adopted while conversing and nothing beyond that.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications i need be.
