I have gone through your question and understand your concerns
Simultaneous involvement of face and shoulder may be due to brain involvement and an imaging of brain is required.
If both these symptoms are occurring independently, then possibility of cervical radiculopathy and trigeminal neuralgia should be kept.
Examination by a neurologist will be helpful.
