Brief Answer:
Carpal tunnel syndrome/Nerve conduction studies

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

The symptoms which you have mentioned are very typical of 'Carpal tunnel syndrome'(CTS).In this scenario, you should get Nerve conduction studies done with CTS protocol to confirm the diagnosis so that the treatment can be started accordingly.

Further, CTS is more common in Diabetics and Hypothyroidism, so these both disorders should be evaluated for.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
