Brief Answer:
Due to nerve root irritation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The tingling pain and burning sensation that you are having is likely to be due to the nerve root compression at the level of L5-S1. The nerve root compression can be relieved to some extent with proper exercises and lumbar traction. In addition to the medicines you are already taking, steroid injections in the lower spine can help in decreasing the local swelling.
Consulting a neurologist can help. Do continue with pregabalin and methylcobalamin supplements.
I hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The burning sensation is not likely to be due to pregabalin. It is more likely to be related to severity of nerve compression at L5-S1. The common side effects of pregabalin include- Dizziness, Drowsiness, Loss of balance or coordination, Dry mouth, Constipation, Edema, Tremors, Blurred vision, Weight gain, etc.
Apart from back strengthening exercises, lumbar traction can help you. You can consult a physiotherapist for proper guidance.
Bevon CD can be added as it contains different anti oxidants. Taking electrolyte rich fluids like fresh juicy fruits can also help.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
You can perform the exercises.

Detailed Answer:
You can perform the regular jogging and exercises if it is not any extra pain in the lower back. You can also try swimming and aerobics to make a more flexible spine.
If the disc remains properly hydrated and you continue with all the exercises regularly then there are good chances of a complete recovery. The burning pain will subside as the compression on the nerve roots decreases.

Brief Answer:
Avoid alcohol and smoking.

Detailed Answer:
Hydrated means at least 2-3 liters of fluids everyday. Drinking and tobacco use adds to the nerve irritation, tingling and burning sensation. It is best to avoid smoking and drinking and have a multivitamin B complex supplement regularly to combat this problem.
