I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

The symptoms of numbness and tingling may be related to nerve related abnormality, called as neuropathy. I suggest you to please get a Nerve conduction studies done, to rule out the same.
The causes of the same can be several, the common ones being- Diabetes, Alcohol intake, nutritional deficiency.
