Question : Since having a root canal (2 hrs in surgeon's chair) I have experienced tiredness. My regular dentist gave me 500mg amoxicillin (3x da) before the procedure. I still have a few days remaining. Will I feel better soon? I return Apr 5th to have the permanent crown applied.
Brief Answer:
You will be fine soon..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..
I would like to know that since how many days back you had root canal treatment done, or was it today only?
Secondly I would also like to know that are you still experiencing tiredness?
Did the tiredness started after the Treatment procedure or it started before itself as you started taking antibiotics?
Please write back with answers..
Regards.

Since I had the root canal done (last Wednesday). The antibiotic was begun on Monday before. Pain from the root canal has all but subsided.
Brief Answer:
You will be fine soon..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..
Do not worry you will be better soon.
You should take a nutritious diet, Vitamin B complex supplements and sufficient rest..
In case if you do not feel fine in another one week then get examined by a Physician as then it would not be related to your Root Canal Treatment..
Hope this helps..
