Brief Answer:
Need to rule out hypothyroidism and osteoporosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Sever body ache with poor memory and slow movements and tiredness in bed, all point towards a possible diagnosis of possible hypothyroidism.

2. However, osteoporosis can present with severe body pains.

3. You need to get a thyroid hormone profile along with a complete hemogram done. Corrections would be necessary, based on abnormality. Hope the calcium level is normal and there is no osteoporosis. If not sure, bone mineral density test maybe necessary.

4. Along with it, also need to :
a. Take good amount of water during daytime and avoid after 4 pm to not disturb sleep.
b. Balanced nutritional diet predominantly protein of atleast 1g/kg body weight along with moderate amount of carbohydrates and mild fat.
c. High fiber diet, basically from fruits and vegetables.
d. Regular sleep of nigh 8-9 hours (Hope you have no gagging feeling or snoring)
e. Mild exercises like walking during early morning.

Do get the tests done.

For memory, you will require additional XXXXXXX mental examination to check the amount of loss of memory and further cholinesterase inhibitors like Aricept may need to be started.

Meet your doctor for tests.

The above is assuming all your symptoms is present for more than 15 days. If it is short of 2-3 days, viral infection needs to be evaluated.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
