Question : I am 72 yrs old and recovering from a cold
I feel tired and feel perculiar when I walk to the shop ( out of breath)
My blood pressure has normally been about 110/70...... Tonight it has been 128/68.
Would the higher reading interrupt sleep?

Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
This difference in BP Is acceptable and is not going to effect your sleep or health.
Tiredness is very common during recovery from cold / viral.
Moreover the cold medicines particularly anti histaminics also cause such issues.
But these are transient and there is nothing to worry at all.
However in case you have chest pain or severe breathlessness on walking you should go for cardiac evaluation.
For the weakness and tiredness you are feeling simply have lot of fluids , fruits and good diet.
These symptoms would go soon.
