Question: It is almost 4 months post delivery and I was still feeling tiredness and weakness, with heel pain as well. I took Vitamin D blood test and it falls under "severely deficient" range. My baby is already taking VitaminD3 drops. Will I pass on the deficiency to my breastfed baby? I am a pure vegetarian. Can you please help me with the food/tablet that I need to take? Thanks XXXXX

Brief Answer: Milk, butter, curd Detailed Answer: If your are not taking egg, no problem. I would suggest you to take milk without cream, curd, butter milk, spinach in diet. These are good source of calcium. Also sun exposure provides vitamin D. You should take calcium and vitamin d tablets once your vitamin d comes to normal. CCM tablet has calcium citrate and it is vegetable calcium. Take one tablet daily. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions. Thanks and take care.
