default
Posted on Thu, 12 Nov 2015
Question: I am a 50 hr old white male in good health, no major health issues ever. While urinating this evening a raisin sized chunk of bloody tissue passed and fell into the urinal. I had no pain my urine was clear at first some blood with the tissue and then clear again. I urinated again later all clear. The tissue was red and bloody and looked very much like a miniature liver

Brief Answer:
Once cause for it is found out, proper treatment will be started.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i advise you , to get examined by a qualified Urologist.
Such fleshy bits of tissues are seen in urine, in cases of stone, tumor in urinary tract or severe inflammation,or necrosis of parts of kidney.
Get the following tests done, after examination by the doctor.
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine ,creatinine, sugar and PSA.
3. Ultrasound scan of abdomen and a TRUS(trans rectal ultrasound scan).
4. Drink 10-12 glasses liquids daily.
According to reports, proper treatment will be advised.
In case you're taking Aspirin or Clopidrogel, it should be stopped till, doctor allows you to restart it.
If needed, a CT-IVU may be needed.
Wish you good health.
