Question : hello sir , i am a medical student. while i was reading in library felt asleep for an half hour. Afte getting up i realized that i am having blurred vision left side . i rememberd about accidental pressure applied on medial side of left eye supratrochlear region /base of nose area by my hand while sleeping .Even after 7 to 8 hours blurring of vision persist. Kindly give your expert opinion.

Any transient visual impairment due to pressure lasts very short while. Please get detailed retinal examination tomorrow as there may be a coincidence and there may be some other issue. As you are a young man the possibility of a disease process are remote but we have to have detailed eye examination with emphasis on retinal examination.
