Question : I started waking up at night feeling shaky and light tremors through my body. This has been happening for about a year. Also get spasm in my upper thigh. Feel faint and woosy. They have been getting worse and more frequent and had one episode during the day. I have been to the ER twice and all blood work comes back normal. I can't figure out what is happening.

Thanks for posting your query.
Well most common cause for tremors and muscle spasm is either calcium deficiency or Potassium deficiency . I hope you have been tested for these levels but if not kindly get tested.
Apart from this the other possibilities include diseases affecting muscles or nerves. Among them I would recommend you get tested for Diabetes, Serum Vitamin B12 levels, Lead levels, TSH, CPK and Nerve conduction study of all 4 limbs.
Kindly revert back with reports.
Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.
Regards.
