What concerns me:
I have been experiencing mild tremors for a few months now. Mostly at night and mostly in my lower extremities. Interestingly, I have also had a couple episodes where my arms have gone totally weak and pained as if I had just been lifting weights for several hours. I was basically unable to move. Quite scary. Any advice you can give me would be much appreciated.
Further evaluation is necessary.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. Shingles occur due to a reactivation of the chickenpox virus infection from childhood. It usually surfaces during stress and immune weakness. Post herpetic neuralgia occurs in some patients and requires sustained treatment.
2. Which diuretic do you take for the Meniere's Disease? Auto-immune Inner Ear Disease mimics Meniere's. A review of the criteria should be done.
3. The tremors could be Restless Legs Syndrome. Myasthenia should be ruled out with blood tests. Cervical spine issues and carpal tunnel syndrome are common at this age.
4. Get a neurologist's opinion. Upload these reports and clinical examination notes for further discussion.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
