Brief Answer:
seems to be benign eye twiching

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query.

Eye twitching are very common. They usually are benign spontaneous contraction of small muscles. This usually affect the lower eyelid and the most common causes are:
-Anxiety and stress
-Tiredness and lack of sleep
-Strain of eye muscles (working for long hours in front of a computer or reading long hours,if you have vision problems)
-Caffeine
-Dry eyes
Usually they can last a few days up to few weeks and go away on their own.

If you don't have any other symptoms like difficulty opening your eye or twitching in other parts of your face ,you don't need to worry.
Try to relax, sleep well and try to rest your eyes (don't see too much TV or use Computer only for 1-2 hours a day ),reduce caffeine intake.
If you have vision problems you may need to see an Oculist because you may need glasses.

If this twitching is persistent and doesn't go away in some weeks, then you should consult a physician for examination just to be safe.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you need further help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
