Posted on Sat, 2 Aug 2014
Question: I have 2 circular moles or scabs - one each in the exact same place on the outside of each of my elbows. They both popped up at same time, seemingly overnight. Very bizarre

Kindly elaborate and send pictures

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the 2 circular moles or scabs. It is really bothersome for anyone to find anything unusual on skin.

To help you best in your condition I request to kindly tell me following:

- What was the initial appearance of the moles or scab. Was these like mole or rough surfaced scabs.

- Have you felt any itching or burning or pain in the area and therefore you tried to itch or scratch the area.

- Any change of color or variegated (different) colors you observed in your spot.

- Has this area increased in size suddenly.

I request you to kindly upload few good resolution pictures of your affected area so that I can analyze it better. Kindly send good resolution pictures of both the sides focusing the area of concern which can be seen on higher magnification. For uploading the pictures you have a facility on the right side of the page or can send on:

Thanks for your reply. They are like rough surfaced scabs. There is no pain or itching. They are same color and size and located at the exact same relative spot on outside of each elbow. They kind of look like a scab from a cigarette burn, but I don't smoke. I will try to follow up with picture(s)

Brief Answer:
Do not try to touch, pinch or pop the area.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Thanks for your swift follow up with additional information.

As there is no pain or itching with appearance overnight only so there is nothing to be worried about the same. In any case I would like to review the pictures for best guidance.

- Do not try to touch, pinch or pop the area.

- Clean it with antiseptic lotion for two times. You can clean with any antiseptic lotion diluted in boiled water. A tea spoon of antiseptic is sufficient for a cup of water.

Hope to receive good resolution pictures from your side.

With regards,
