default
Posted on Tue, 1 Jul 2014
Question: Friday I had fever and chills, chills went away and I had a fever the next 3 days. Sunday my mouth started to hurts and I noticed tiny ulcers, got worse yesterday and even worse today. My tongue is white with ulcers/blisters and now I gave a blister in the inside of my bottom lip. I also keep getting a foul/ metal taste in my mouth.
I am in terrible pain, can't eat and I can barely talk.

Brief Answer:
Cold sore

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that you may be suffering from the cold sore.

For your kind information--> Cold sores (fever blister) are caused mainly by the type 1 herpes simplex virus.Sores usually last from 7 to 10 days, and most frequently occur near the mouth, lips or nostrils.
Apply a topical treatment such as lidocaine or benzyl alcohol.

But to rule out other disease and to reach the near diagnosis you may go for the 1. MP by FM
2. Widal Test
3. Consult the ENT Specialist.

Thanks
