What Causes Unexpected Menstrual Bleeding After Taking I Pill?

Question: Hello,
My wife took I-pill within 3 hours,
She had unexpected menstrual cycle 2 weeks before the normal cycle which lasted for 3 days
Now she's experiencing little bleeding like 1 time in a week and twice in the following week
Please tell us why this happens and how long is it going to last and what should be done
Also will her next cycle be according to the one she had after i-pill?

Brief Answer:
Known to cause irregular periods
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
I pill is known to cause irregular cycles and also early bleeding. It will take another two period cycles for this to normalise. Do not worry about it. It is because of the hormone content in the ipill which causes this.
The next cycle might be a little delayed than usual. Usually a week more than the usual cycle
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
