What Causes Unexplained Bruising On The Body?

Question: My daughter who is at college- called me this morning stating she has bruising all over both of her legs. She does have an impact for birth control in her arm and is not concrete and lexapro as well as atenolol for migraines. I was doing some reading and feel she should go to the ER but wanted to get more advice first.

Thanks for your query. I've reviewed the attached image.

We need to investigate the cause. At the very least, a complete blood count with coagulation profile would be required. It may be because of low platelets or abnormal blood clotting function.

Based on the results of these, we can proceed further.

Hence I feel she should go to the ER.

thank you for the feedback. She is working all day today. I guess I need to know how urgent it is she gets to the ER. if she needs to go now I will make sure she leaves work. What are your thoughts?
