Question : I have had some unexplained lightheadedness CONSTANT not positional for the last 6 years. I have done countless tests and been to numerous specialists and no one can see to determine the cause. Basically the last blood test I did for Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase Ab came back as a 5.0 on the range of null-5.0 the doctor that ordered the lab never got back to me and she won't return my calls. I am just wondering if this is concerning or not and what the test is for. I am desperate for answers and am hoping it means something. Thank you

Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase Ab is towards upper limit and this is acceptable.
Lightheadedness that you described may be due to many causes like anxiety, stress, panic, dehydration, allergy, medicine side effects, low blood sugar etc. But I have gone through your previous queries as well. Almost all relevant investigations has been done and these are negative. I presume you are investigated thoroughly. In this instance I will order for a psychiatric consult. It is important that we look into psychological factors as anxiety ,panic and stress for the cause of lightheadedness.

Does anxiety and stress cause constant dizziness or just when you are experiencing anxiety and stress?
