What Causes Unilateral Nasal Bleeding?

Question: Hello I have nose bleed only on the right side and only when I am lying down during sleep and sometimes in the morning after a shower and blow my nose. Do not have any problems when standing or sitting . during the day. I can also exercise ,play golf or work during the day without any bleeding. It is always on the right nostril. Have been taking one low dose aspirin a day and doctor says to just take one every other day. I tried packing my right nostril while sleeping doctor said not to do that. Why is my nostril bleeding and how can I stop it while lying down when it starts bleeding. Thank you

Epistaxis or nose bleed only from one nostril is usually due to a septal spur or a mass inside the nostril or some infection.
Get a CT paranasal sinuses done. Also get bleeding profile and liver function test done.
Put decongestant nasal drops before going to sleep.
Avoid any finger nail trauma.
Epistaxis always has a reason. Treating the cause will treat it.
