Brief Answer:
Can be due to tendonitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

The pain that you have can be due to an inflamed tendon in the area. It is best to avoid any painful movement, do a hot compress and get an oral muscle relaxant prescribed from your physician. Using a local analgesic gel will also help. You can start with oral steroid and medicines like Serratiopeoptidase and Rutoside to decrease the inflammation after consulting with your physician.

I hope this answers your query.

In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.

Wishing you good health.

Regards.
