Question : I have unusually rigid muscles. They are not painful, but my massage therapist and friends often comment how my muscles feel like rocks. What could this be relating to? Is there any diagnostic testing I can do to see if I have a muscle disease?

                                    Brief Answer:
Due to good tone.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The hardness of muscles is due to the tone of the muscles. Regular exercise causes hardness of the muscles. This is indicative of a better muscular strength. It is not suggestive of any pathology. You need not worry.
I hope this answers your query.
