Question : I am 55 and thought I was throug menopause ! Haven't had a period in 3 or more years. Started bleeding yesterday with some clots. Is this common or a serious concern? Have been doing some major cleaning and more active than normal. Thank You!!!!

I can understand your concern here.
If you had no period since last three and now you starts bleeding with clots, your problem needs evaluation.
You should consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined and pelvic ultrasound test done to see the endometrial thickness and rule out the other causes like fibroid, polyp, endometrial hyperplasia.
You should go for endometrial biopsy to rule out endometrial carcinoma.
Are you taking any type of hormone replacement therapy that may also cause postmenopausal bleeding.
