I review your photo and It seems to be a fecal tenia or parasites.
Your doughter should do :
-fecal test for ova parasites
After that she should use albendasole for 3 days and reapeat this tretament after 21 days.

Where would this type of parasite come from? What type of food? And is she passed it could there be more?

Hi back,
Your doughter may be has been infected from dirty fruits or foods.
This kind of parasites are growing in gut ( small and large bowels).
It is tru that your doughter has oassed one but it is sure that ovas and other parasites are gowing uo at her guts.
This is why she need treatments.
