Hi

Greetings of the day

Dear Sir,

i have gone through your previous questions and also through your history.

It is important to have assessment for finding out cause of pain in abdomen by non invasive investigation before one precedes to invasive investigation like ERCP.

I would suggest to get the following investigation

1. Serum Amylase and Lipase level
2. Biochemical analysis of Enzymes: SGOT,SGPT
3. Magnetic resonance Cholangiopancreatogram(MRCP): It is non invasive investigation and may even replace ERCP. many individuals may have exacerbation of symptoms after ERCP.
4. Stool examination: To rule out Pancreatic insufficiency
5. Lipid profile: Elevated lipid profile may cause transient Pancreatitis and present with pain.
