Question : What may cause upper leg/hip pain. Sometimes it feels like a groin pull.

Upper leg or hip pain can be caused due to muscle spasm or electrolyte imbalance. In such a case feeling groin pull is likely. Hot compress usually provides relief. Paracetamol/acetaminophen (OTC) or other prescription muscle relaxants may provide relief. In case of electrolyte imbalance, taking juicy fruits like citrus fruits should help.
