Question : I am having intermittent pain across the upper right side of my abdomen. It is a dull aching feeling. I am also getting the "chills" frequently in my body. The pain sometimes shoots across my lower back. I also have difficulty with my bowel movements.

Hello thanks for putting your query in hcm. Pain in right side upper abdomen may be due to liver, billiary tract, intestine and stomach and kidney. However that radiates to back may be of stomach,gallbladder or kidney. So I will advise you to get an ultrasound abdomen to reach to the diagnosis and treatment accordingly. Meanwhile I will advise you to take a proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole and antispasmodic agent like drotavarine. I hope I have answered your query and this will help you.
